NEW VOLUME TANDEM TRAIN 40 TO
PRESENTED AT THE IAA

Kotschenreuther pointed to the 67. IAA Commercial Vehicles in Hanover built a volume tandem train for Schierhuber in Zwettl, Lower Austria.

The train has access ramps and a crank-out rear portal on the trailer for transporting general cargo, Pallets, Drinks and tractors. But also tarpaulin quick-opening systems that have proven themselves in practice, which do not require any slats and can be opened in seconds, were presented as a model.

Bernd Cutting, Managing director of Kotschenreuther Fahrzeugbau draws a positive conclusion from the IAA trade fair

“The first joint trade fair appearance with our parent company Meusburger Fahrzeugbau at the IAA exceeded all expectations for us. As a group, we have received many compliments on our wide range of products, and we are happy about it, that both Meusburger and Kotschenreuther are perceived as flexible companies, that offer vehicles according to the customers’ wishes.”

Kotschenreuther sees itself as a specialist for volume transport, here especially in the area of tandem trains.

The user-friendliness of the vehicles is an important concern for Kotschenreuther - given the acute shortage of drivers - and has also found its way into the company motto "faster charging - easier driving".. “For us, good customer advice goes hand in hand with the high quality of the vehicle’s moving components. Drivers should have fun doing it, to move our tarpaulin quick-opening systems or to operate rear doors and support winches without much physical effort, “This concept was very well received by many interested visitors at the IAA”, said Bernd cutting.
